myResearch Portal provides Principal Investigators with
real-time, web-based access to administrative data
associated with their sponsored research.
We've expanded access to financial and research protocol/study data.
- Abstract Search: The myResearch Portal provides the capability for you to search abstracts. You simply enter the
keywords that you’d like as search criteria into the box in the Abstracts area on the Summary
View. The system searches abstracts for the terms that you enter; a summary of results is
displayed in a separate tab, so popups will need to be enabled for your browser.
- All funds and cost centers: If you have the proper IBIS access, you can view general funds, endowments, and gift accounts. Just type in the account number in the Financial Accounts section (now located at the top of the results display). If you have IBIS access to this information, the account number will automatically be saved in the drop down list. The myResearch Portal will only display information for cost centers for which you have permission to view through IBIS.
- Delegate access to financial data: Delegates can now drill down to see financial details if they have the proper IBIS access. Specifically, delegates need mnemonic or UEFA access in IBIS to view financial details in the myResearch Portal.
- Research protocol/study data: All study team members can view details of their protocol/study from the CATS or PRAMS system by clicking on the study.
NOTE: When a delegate drills down to view more details, the Portal checks the delegate's access and not the faculty member's. The source system's security is always honored by the myResearch Portal.
All Penn State access account holders can access the myResearch Portal.
